The ActionRoad Blog

You’ve stumbled into Jim Griffin’s blog.  Stay tuned here for my ramblings about hobbies and history, photography and projects, and the occasional foray into the real world.

I’m an author, amateur photographer, historian, musician, and professional crastinator.  My writing credits include a book on the Rio Grande railroad and a True-fiction WW2 story, and have written several modeling articles for the Prospector magazine.

I like to build stuff– model railroads, model ships, model aircraft– but I’m about more than that.  I’ll also ruminate about life, death, and football.  You never know just what you’ll see here on a given day.

Use the categories at right to launch your exploration of my whimsical and sometimes troubled mind.  Come back often and see what I’ve been up to.

Also- note that there is an extensive website associated with this blog, the continuing stoooo-rrry  of one of the oldest western railfan sites on the internet.
